Reader Makes Commemorative Coin

After reading the Twins Platoon, Anthony Johnson, United States Air Force, Alaska, wanted to do something to show Vietnam Veterans his appreciation and gratitude for their service to our country. At his own expense he designed and paid to have a commemorative coin made for each member of the Twins Platoon.

Thank you for the commemorative coin. I very much appriciate your time effort and money which you done on your own. I think about the summer of 1967 in boot camp with all those boys from small towns and farms from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Have often wondered what became of them and if any were killed in Vietnam.

To all on this post the Devil Dog Clayton E. Carr I found out from my family in ND of August 9th Passed away He was a great friend and a fellow legionaire from Washburn ND keep his family in all our prayers sincerly.
